Pall-Ex backed Adam Morgan heads to Knockhill this weekend with a spring in his step following a fantastic weekend last time out at Thruxton.
Earning an incredible three podium finishes, when the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) took place in Hampshire four weeks ago, the Lancastrian banished the poor luck that had hampered his season until then.
Following a change of engineering staff, the car came to life, giving Adam the confidence, and performance he needed to earn such great results.
In what was the Ciceley Motorsport team’s second most successful weekend in their history, Adam’s talent combined with a well set-up car reaffirmed the outfit’s position as one of the top competitors in the championship.
Heading into this weekend, the team will be hoping to build on the form they discovered at Thruxton.
Knockhill in Fife is the only Scottish round of the BTCC and is one of the shorter circuits on the calendar.
Last year, the Blackburn based outfit performed well around the tight, undulating circuit.
Adam brought the car home in all three races, earning good points by finishing ninth, fifth and fourth.
As a result of the bad luck he has experienced so far this season, Adam currently sits in 14th position in the drivers’ championship with 109 points.
However, with the car now handling how the Lancastrian wants, Knockhill should provide a great platform for Adam to propel himself up the championship standings with another solid performance this weekend.
If you want to hear the latest news about Adam’s weekend, Adam and the Ciceley Motorsport team will regularly post updates on their social media throughout the weekend.
Qualifying in Scotland begins at 15:00 on Saturday.
You can watch Adam’s race day unfold on Sunday as all the action, as always, will be live on ITV4, with Race One starting at 11:45 AM.
