Working hours: Monday to Friday 8pm-5am
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Night Operations Manager to join our friendly team.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Ensure Daily planning service and cost requirements are met
Ensure Fortec and South-central Hub results are achieved daily in line with agreed targets
Ensure Legality and Compliance within the depot and vehicles
Effective management of teams and agreed targets and KPI’s
Support customer development and retention in line with agreed targets
Training matrix and action plans are developed and achieved in line with set targets (transport, warehousing and H&S)
Support network team in new business and successful integration of these customers in line with agreed SLA’s
Recruitment in all areas is met in line with budgetary requirements with a focus on removal of agency associated costs
Achieve KPI’s through management team by coaching, mentoring, and developing to achieve and exceed.
Ensuring all HR policies and procedures are adhered to
Ensuring all H&S policies and procedures are adhered to
Monitor the night operations and report any issues to the Head of Hub Operations
What we need from you
Extensive previous experience in a similar role within the logistics sector
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record in driving operational improvements and achieving cost savings
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
Ability to work well independently and part of a team
Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
