COVID-19 Pallet Delivery FAQs: Part 2/2

To support our customers with any queries or concerns they may have at this time, we have compiled the following frequently asked questions on pallet delivery during the COVID-19 outbreak.

How will you deliver my pallet?

We have introduced non-contact deliveries in order to adhere to current social distancing guidelines from the Government. The safety of our staff and our customers is paramount, so this means our drivers will maintain a distance of two metres from customers during the delivery process.

Will COVID-19 affect my delivery options?

Pall-Ex provides kerbside delivery as standard. This remains the safest method of delivery for our staff and customers, enabling our drivers to maintain social distancing and minimise contact during delivery. Will I have to sign for my pallet?

No. We have suspended the need to sign for your pallet as proof of delivery as part of our social distancing measures. Instead, your driver will take a photo of your consignment as proof of delivery to minimise contact. They will ask you whether you are happy with the delivery, while standing over 2m away, please notify them if any issues.

Will COVID-19 affect my delivery time?

As a pallet network, we are working around the clock to minimise disruption to supply chains and keep Britain on the move. Our network is not currently experiencing any major delays however, due to the evolving situation and our commitment to supporting essential services like the NHS, this could change at short notice. 

Our customer service team continues to monitor the situation closely so we can inform and support customers if a delay occurs, and we thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. 

We continue to provide a personalised service for all customers and can offer a range of delivery options, including next-day, specific timed and out-of-hours delivery. Find out more about our Domestic Services and delivery options.

Our team endeavours to deliver every pallet on time however, the on-going COVID-19 crisis may impact services and cause delays at short notice.

Can I track my pallet?


If you regularly send pallets through Pall-Ex, please speak to your local member about a MyNexus account.  MyNexus enables you to follow your consignment from source to completed delivery, so you can keep track every step of the journey and receive any instant POD.

How are you keeping customers and staff safe?

We are taking all precautions necessary to keep our workforce and our customers safe, and are minimising the risk of infection by following Government recommendations.

We are maintaining social distancing in the workplace, including our Central Hub, owned operations and throughout our network. Sensible actions have been implemented to minimise people movement, contact and interaction, and also to keep our workplace functional and as clean as possible to minimise any risks relating to Coronavirus entering our working environment.
