Regional General Manager (Central West)

Position : Regional General Manager – Central West

Contract Type : Permanent - 40 hours per week

Location : Field based - Central West

Working hours : Monday to Friday – variable hours

Starting Salary : £60,000.00 per annum

Role specific responsibilities:

  • To provide direction and leadership across the business, in house and with members as required through strategic, commercial and operational support and expertise to fellow General Managers.

  • To maintain the highest standards of safety and quality whilst demonstrating effective compliance with all legal requirements. Through a process of continuous improvement, will always strive to better the services it provides.

  • Coach and guide others to help achieve KPIs and financial results in a respectful and non-challenging manner.

  • To comply with the management systems that cover all aspects of the group’s operations.

  • To monitor and evaluate key performance indicators and help formulate improvement plans where required.

  • To ensure an efficient and professional level of service is provided to all customers within the agreed delivery schedules and meet agreed KPI service levels.

  • View all manning levels, recruitment, agency use, training, development, and employee relations.

  • To lead projects and Regional team in service, compliance and safety excellence

  • Provide feedback and escalation where required on Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

  • Provide a high level of commerciality to help ensure company margins are increased and sustained year on year.

  • Sales responsibility – work with Sales, Marketing and site based General Managers to ensure a strong pipeline of prospects can be evidenced in required areas.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation by effectively planning and directing the team with the aim to meet cost efficiency criteria.

  • Work with Senior Management and accounts team to provide yearly budget and reforecast if needed.
