Pall-Ex Group, a leading pallet distribution network, is proud to celebrate two years of its Charitable Foundation, a milestone that reflects the business’s commitment to making a positive impact in the local community.

Since its launch in November 2023, the Pall-Ex Group Charitable Foundation has supported 40 separate causes, including veterans’ charities, homeless initiatives, and grassroots sports teams. The foundation offers a dedicated platform where staff, network members and individuals in the local community can request donations for causes close to their hearts.
The foundation is overseen by the Pall-Ex Group Board of Directors and members of the pallet network, who serve as trustees. The foundation's primary fundraising initiative is the long-established penny-a-pallet scheme, which began during Pall-Ex’s first year of operation. This program sees one penny from every pallet processed through their hubs donated to charitable causes.
Notable contributions from the first two years include a £10,000 donation to SSAFA’s London Marathon campaign, £9000 in support of Veterans into Logistics and a £5000 grant to The Erskine Home to fund trips and outings for veterans.
Discussing the donation from Pall-Ex, Gareth Toner, Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager at Erskine Veterans Charity, comments: “We would like to once again thank everyone at the Pall-Ex Group Charitable Foundation for their terrific support of Erskine’s veterans and pass on our best wishes for the foundation’s second anniversary.

“The foundation’s generous grant last year went towards our packed programme of trips and outings for elderly veterans at The Erskine Home, Bishopton. Some of the most popular outings during this time included a visit to the Royal Scots Museum, a night at the opera and a sunny day out at Loch Lomond Shores.
“The grant had a significant positive impact on the mental and physical wellbeing of our veterans. Erskine would like to recognise Pall-Ex’s fantastic generosity towards our veterans in Scotland and their broader support of the ex-service community across the UK.”
Kevin Buchanan, CEO of Pall-Ex Group, comments: “The Pall-Ex Group Charitable Foundation’s two-year anniversary is a significant milestone in our commitment to creating a lasting positive change in the communities we serve.
“The legacy that we are building with the Charitable Foundation is remarkable, and looking ahead to the next two years and beyond, we will continue to support the causes that mean the most to our employees, members and the wider community.”
