Brocklehurst Transport expands fleet to bolster customer commitment and nationwide capabilities

Brocklehurst Transport, a committed shareholder member of the Pall-Ex network, is proud to announce the latest additions to its fleet, demonstrating the company’s dedication to reinvesting in its assets to continue to meet and exceed customer needs across the UK.

The investment forms part of a vehicle replacement programme to modernise the fleet, keep vehicles newer, and provide greater flexibility for both dedicated van work and long-distance operations.

The updated fleet now includes an 18-tonner to support pallet network operations, a smaller van allowing for the option of distance van work, offering customers more options for fast, efficient service, and two articulated lorries (arctics) to enhance long-haul and heavy tramping on nationwide routes throughout the week.

The vehicle investment aims to improve the business’ reliability and reduces the risk of ageing vehicles, and also demonstrates Brocklehurst Transport’s long-term commitment to its customers.

By ensuring the fleet is continually refreshed, it means the company is better placed to deliver its top-quality service offering that is expected by customers, while also keeping its drivers satisfied with comfortable, modern vehicles.

The vehicles are equipped with the latest modern technology, including scanners, cameras, and radars, which broadens Brocklehurst Transport’s capability to deliver into and collect out of major urban areas, which had previously been limited due to regulatory costs.

Brocklehurst’s fleet is now made up of 35 vehicles, which is around a 20% increase since before the pandemic. This supports the business’ success, allowing it to take on more work across a range of industries including retail, construction, beauty, food, and beverages, with concrete as one of its biggest sectors.
