Working hours: 40 hours a week, with some flexibility required due to the nature of the role.

 Role Specific Responsibilities 

  • Ensure Daily planning service and cost requirements are met
  • Plan all General haulage routes efficiently using KPI's
  • Ensure all drivers are contacted/monitored daily,
  • Monitor using inhouse tracking systems and technology
  • Ensure all drivers hold the relevant entitlement for the vehicles they are driving
  • Ensure all drivers remain legally compliant and driving hours are monitored
  • Work with the Operations manager to deliver a 1st class service
  • Liaise with existing and find new General Haulage customers
  • Build a large general customer base
  • Achieve set revenue targets monitored by KPI's
