Are you a quality sales professional that's ready for your next challenge?

We are looking for a self-motivated Business Development Manager (BDM)to join our Commercial team and win new business volumes within our Group Corporate Accounts division.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • need to be able to travel to the Pall-Ex Group head office in Ellistown, Leicestershire
  • have pallet network or previous logistics experience 
  • knowledge of the key businesses within the midlands area is preferred not essential 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The initial  focus will be to grow the Fortec corporate account volume
  • To obtain leads and set up meetings with suitable clients 
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process
  • Acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities for both networks are captured and explored
  • Be accountable for all customer proposals, SLA's, contracts and any further documentation
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update the company's CRM system
  • Report weekly sales activity to Commercial Director
  • Track all new pallet volumes


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Working towards and supporting the Group's goals, values and objectives
  • Ensure the highest level of quality of service is provided to both internal and external stakeholders at all times
