Pall-Ex Europe enables Pall-Ex members and customers to send 1/4, 1/2 and full pallets to any destination in Europe using the same pallet definitions as the UK under a defined service schedule. The service runs five nights per week to all European destinations, making it the most comprehensive pan-European distribution service in the pallet sector.
Pall-Ex’s unique award-winning hub, situated just off junction 22 of the M1 in Leicestershire, is the industry’s only purpose-built facility. Built to the highest environmental and operational standards it is rapidly receiving recognition within the industry and by customers, especially those with environmentally-sensitive goods to transport.
The company has its own dedicated IT organisation – Pall-IT – which has designed and developed the Pall-Ex network’s tailor-made transport management and communications system and which provides comprehensive IT services for members and customers.

Specialists in the trunking of small consignments of 1-3 pallets from and to more than 90 regional and European depots in its member network, Pall-Ex is now introducing exciting new services designed to give customers more flexibility and choice.
In March 2004 Pall-Ex launched its Multi-Pall service which provides competitive prices for the multi-pallet market, for consignments of four or more pallets. In addition Pall-Ex has introduced a day trunk matrix to encourage full and efficient use of the hub facilities during the day as well as at night.
Pall-Ex Europe offers daily links to the continent on five days per week providing a truly pan-European delivery service.
With the establishment of Pall-Ex Logistics, Pall-Ex now provides full logistics services for corporate customers, including storage, inventory management, pick and pack and delivery. The company’s nominated carrier schemes include some of the country’s best-known supermarket chains, department stores and DIY stores.
Pall-Ex Warehousing and Distribution provides specialist pallet storage options in state-of-the-art facilities with the highest operational and information management standards.
In its drive to continue improving services to its member depots, Pall-Ex is also introducing added value services in key business support areas. Pall-Ex now provides a centre of excellence in information technology, health and safety, training, financial advice and other activities. By sharing its expertise with the member hauliers in the Pall-Ex network, costs can be shared and quality improved.
