A Pall-Ex member is celebrating after receiving a local award for Growing Business of the Year.

Triple A Transport Services won the Thurrock Business Award after the haulage company took significant measures to diversify and enhance company performance.

The company opened their new warehouse just outside Tilbury earlier this year and normally load around 100 loads per day from surrounding customers and from their own state of the art warehouse which accommodates approximately 3,500 racked pallets, with ambitious future plans to increase warehouse space to accommodate potential increase in business.

Triple A became a bonded ERTS company in January, which means the haulage company can now receive containers which have not yet been cleared by Customs. These containers are kept in the ERTS until they can be cleared of customs at which point the cargo can be distributed.

In addition, the company has employed a further five members of staff over the past year.

Pall-Ex CEO and founder Hilary Devey said: “This is a great achievement for Triple A Transport Services who are a credit to the Pall-Ex network. They have made some significant changes which will only improve their performance.”
